Right Hand Miniature Boring Tools Micro 100's miniature, right-hand sharp boring tools are designed for facing and boring applications in bores .015" and larger, and feature split geometry to make the tool as rigid as possible. These tools have an on-center neck design that allows for static and live/rotating applications. These are available in an AlTiN coated option that provides added lubricity and increased wear resistance in difficult-to-machine materials. Also available with a sharp corner profile. Helical Back Rake & Top Rake Chipbreaker Boring Tools Micro 100's two lines of Standard Boring Tools, the Helical Back Rake and the Top Rake Chipbreaker are specifically designed to provide better chip control and freer cutting in your material. The helical grind on the Helical Back Rake line of tooling provides an ideal top rake for this and features a neck that's centered to the shank for use in jig bore machines. While the design of the Top Rake Chipbreaker provides freer cutting, it also is optimized for finishing operations.
